Peter ... what to say? I moved to London (Highgate) from Bristol back in 2008, where I found a lovely pub in the village. There were a bunch of gentlemen, who where regulars. Peter was one of those ... one evening I joined in to a random conversation about radio mics, to which Peter then said "At last, someone in this pub is talking sense!" - that is where are friendship started. As everyone on this page has said, he is the most kind generous person someone could meet. His funny stories (even if you did hear them a thousand times) always put a smile on your face. I always looked forward to catching up with the 'old boys', especially Pete. Not only were we birthday brothers - and enjoyed a bottle of bubbles together on our birthday - I look up to him and treating him as my Dad ... my London Dad! And I loved him as that too. One story that always stays in my mind ... Pete had bought some fencing panels for the veranda of his house, they got delivered - buy a very big truck - and stay in the courtyard for a couple of weeks. The chaps and I at the pub would ask (take the p**s out of) Pete on how the project was going? about two of ribbing I offered to give a hand on getting the fencing panels up 2 stories for him to deal with. *Fast forward to the job* ... "Pete where the **** did you get these panels", for Pete to reply "only the best for me son". That made my day. I will truly miss Pete ... Great friend, birthday brother, my London Dad, but just a top bloke to be around. See you later mate XX Ritchie
